2016, 91 channel spatial sound installation
Cumann: Limerick is an audio cartographic mapping of the social environment through the interactions and relationships between the communities of interest who in turn define that environment. The work 91 channel spatial sound installation made in collaboration with 14 organisations and groups in Limerick, the 3rd largest city in Ireland.
The installation consists on 13 spatially mapped recording of conversations with social networks in Limerick represented together in the gallery through hanging speaker cones. The audience walk into/through the narratives and intersubjective relaties that define the city.
