2020, digital two channel soundwork
‘chchhachange’ is a 5 track soundwork based on samples of Irish politicians in the run up to the 2020 general election in Ireland. The process involved breaking down words into syllables and vocal inclinations.
It was made from bank of samples primarily of Leo Varadkar, Micheál Martin and Mary Lou McDonald in the run up to the 2020 Elections. The process started from word repetition and the word ‘change’, then breaking down that word into syllables and the vocal utterances the politicians made in their invocations.
