2006, 14 channel sound and drawing on sound panels
‘Where Did We Come From’ is a series of drawings and all fourteen drawings have an associated audio recording and have exciters attached. All fourteen are sequenced so they come and go at intervals allowing the sound to focus on different stories at different times. Each piece is a remembered journey to or through Ballymun, Dublin. The drawings are made while listening back to the dialogues in question. They are quite literal illustrations of elements of conversation.
